Inorie Fotso Returns to Her Roots Paying Tribute in “Secret Lover” in New Album

Cameroon Journal, New York – Inorie Fotso’s most anticipated album is finally here. After a long wait, months of teasing on media canvas, “Renaissance”, Artist Inorie Fotso’s debut Solo album was released on Friday 6/09/2017.

A more vital, more varied musical genres with a mixture of both afro, zouk and electro pop rhythm to express versatility through a diverse array of musical styles. “Renaissance” consists of 5 tracks in total, 2 of them entitled:  1) Secret lover, 2) Whine up, the album’s leader opening tracks that are available for listening online.

For this new Opus, Inorie Fotso returns to her origins, her roots, her history, paying tribute through “Secret Lover” a classic of her Album inspired by “Impossible Love” song from Wally B. Seck Senegalese music Icon.

A beautiful symbolic musical performance that the artist interpreted in this debut album but especially a new creation of musical genre revisited by her record label  known as (ZONZEE MUSIC).  Zonzee music has since then baptised their new creation: “Afro Rnb Mbalax”.

Through “secret lover song, I pay homage to my friend, a talented artist that has an inspiring and positive impact on his generation. This is also my way to thank him for this beautiful ‘shout out” he gave me in his latest album titled “XEL” on the track “ONLY LOVE,” one of the songs of his album.

For this new Album, the melodies are danceable on some songs and soft on others. The artist voice more refined and touching. The rhythms are based on afro world pop influences partially topped with a contemporary touch that we invite you to discover through the links below.
